UNIQUE VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

Female or male, young or old, dedicated a lot, or just dedicated enough; I have here some suggestions for the perfect Valentine's Day gifts to keep the love going strong, or better yet, turn it up a notch!

Why did I post a Valentine's Day article early? So you guys could prepare, if ever you are planning on doing so.. If not, well I hope you would have second thoughts. Spread the love!

Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine, and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD. It was deleted from the General Roman Calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.

Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.

So, you wish to make your partner happy? Wanna surprise them? Give them something that would make them fall in love with you more? Well, you have read the right article! Here are some gift ideas and tips on how to pull off the perfect Valentines Day!!

Tip # 1: "I'M NUTS ABOUT YOU!"
The title says it all.. Give your partner a variety of nuts, of course, neatly and beautifully packed accompanied by a letter or a sketch saying "I'M NUTS ABOUT YOU!".. He/she will be surprised and touched at the same time. ;)

Tip #2: "YOU'RE MY MISSING PIECE"
Well, I am sure some readers have a slight clue with this tip- you are right. A jigsaw puzzle-themed gift. Select a photo from your gallery, one with the sweetest or most unique post with your lover, and go to any shop that offers printing and such services of this idea. This will bring much joy to you both as you complete the puzzle, laughing and loving all the way through!

Tip #3: "TOKENS OF MY AFFECTION"
Prepare tokens (sold for a very cheap and reasonable price) which can be found in local department stores, along with some coloring and printing materials as you come up with words or phrases that could be written or engraved on the tokens bought. Some good examples may be "Love", "I miss you", or even "Hug me please" to make it more cute.

Tip #4: "DANCE TO MY MUSIC"
I juts love this tip! Prepare a blank CD along with a compilation of the songs the both of you like, and even record a simple, sweet message and squeeze it in along with the other songs. You two could dance to a certain beat, sing to great pop songs, and slow-dance to mellow music as your message for him/her will suddenly play.. Your partner will be very surprised, break down to tears of joy even. ;)

Tip #5:"YOU'RE SO SWEET!"
Obviously, this tip involved a whole lot of sugary goods! Go and purchase a couple of bite-sized chocolates, or a big one even, but I suggest the little pieces so that he/she could pick on everyday, and everyday they will be reminded of your love for them.

Well, I am pretty sure these tips are helpful. You could prepare and wrap them with simple gift wraps- not too much, okay? Then surprise them in the process of giving; in a scenario that he/she will never expect to be given a gift. You guys could even try drama and be all lonely and depressed, while stating you have nothing to give them on this very special day.. And when the drama is bought.. Boom! You know the rest of the story.

Oh, and if you guys are eager or want to spend the day watching a movie together, I have the perfect one. This might seem a bit cliche, but trust me, it is worth the watch!

Valentine's Day is a 2010 American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall. The screenplay and the story was written by Katherine Fugate, Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein.

I will not post a trailer, and I suggest you not to watch it- be surprised! Watch the movie directly. Again, you will not regret it (I am not speaking sarcastically). ;p Much love!

I wish you guys luck. Be creative and have a sweet Valentine's Day!! xx
