DOS AND DON'TS THIS SUMMER

Face it, the term SUMMER, or to make it even clearer, SUMMER VACATION, is said to be the time when students are free to do as they please, with no worries regarding school matters. Well, my dear readers, let’s face it:


..Every thing comes with a price, even those “happy” or “party-party” moments we are about to experience this summer.


Below, I have MY own, personal TOP 5 DOs and DON'Ts. Hope they help! 


1. TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS BAD (DRINKING).

I’m not the bar-hopping type, nor do I even drink or smoke, but I have friends who do, and I hope they are aware of this post.. Not that these things are bad, I mean, all teenagers are bound to pass by this stage. It depends on them on how they handle the "obsession", as many label it as. :)

2. DON'T RUSH LOVE.

For lovers, this is a joyful moment to spend time with each other and cherish the 2-3 months of freedom, and for those who WANT to be engaged in a relationship, don't rush. As simple as that. Majority of relationships these days fall apart easily, especially when they were started on Valentines. Lol True story, bro.


3. DON'T STOP WRITING.

I've been a victim of this every summer. Every time I get back to school, my writing gets all wobbly and it looks like some random 4-year-old kid wrote it. Trust me! Write every once in a while..Whether it be a simple note or a lecture and such. 


4. READ, READ, READ.

Leaders are readers, so pick up a book, or an Ebook for that matter, and just feed your mind. The benefits of reading are very rewarding. Don't think that reading is for nerds.. Those who think this are just plain lame. Really.


And last but not least..


5. PRAY MORE, AND MORE, AND MORE.

God never gets tired of listening to us, especially when it's a daily routine. Some only pray when they need something, which is not very ideal. Talk to Him like how you do to your lover, friend, best friend, or acquaintance, only with much respect and interest. He's the best companion ever, and no one else could take His place! Remember to always pray, and be the best soldier you could be. He's always watching us! :)
