Fans screamed and cried as host Ryan Seacrest announced the top two remaining contestants on Season 11 of "American Idol"! Growing up in Chula Vista, San Diego, California, this very talented woman is pretty, talented, and very humble. The perfect mixture. Joshua Ledet was eliminated- the judges were sad, but at the same time thrilled that the Top 2 were the ones who truly deserve it.
Jessica Sanchez was the one who reached the farthest on this competition among all the American Idol contestants that were Filipinos. Filipino-American Jasmine Trias made it to the top three of AI's Season 3, and yes, she was the one who sang the "Love Ko 'To" song that went viral a few years ago, while Ramiele Malubay, another Fil-Am, placed ninth in Season 7. Thia Megia, another Filipino-American, meanwhile, finished in the top 11 of last year's competition, and I'm on a 50:50 with this one because her voice is great enough to reach the top 11, but on second thought, she should have stayed even longer.
I truly am 100% happy with the results, and hoping a whole lot that Jessica will win, for her voice is hard to find, and her heart is as humble as a Filipina's should be.

Oh, and Jessica's mother is the Filipina, while her Father's Mexican. :) Just some facts
