Senator Chiz Escudero, one of the most influential public icons I look up to, was in Zamboanga City just this June 26, 2012. I was very lucky and blessed to be invited to his press conference along with a fellow blogger. At that moment, I was very proud to have started blogging.. I mean, meeting the famous Senator "Chiz" Escudero? Who would miss out on that?
It was on June 25, 2012 at 11:00 PM when my fellow blogger and also my classmate, Patricia Tan, informed me of this amazing opportunity- Very good timing, considering the internet connection at home was temporarily down, so I had no updates on meetings and other important matters regarding my blog, so with that, I owe you so much, Ms. Tan! Very thankful.

The press conference was held in this room, and we were the first ones to arrive. Talk about being early!
As expected, there were a lot of cameras. "CLICKS" here and there. It was crowded, and we were lucky to be seated in front of the Senator himself.
Here, Senator Chiz was already talking and answering our questions. Mine was:
Me: Senator, are you the same at home and at work?
Senator: Hindi ako nagsasalita ng ganito, kasi walang mic. Iyon anak ko ang kausap ko at mas malambing ako. Umh.. Ordinaryo. Madalas kung nasa bahay ako nakikipaglaro ako sa anak ko at natutulog.
Me: You are very close with your family?
Senator: I am! With my kids. There's a distinction. *Laughs*
After the press conference, Senator was about to be interviewed for a local TV show here in Zamboanga. I was very shocked when one of his assistants invited me and my friend in! We were very thankful that they prioritized us.
I was with ZAFMOS President Ronnie Lledo, the host of "No Limit", the one and only Senator Chiz Escudero, and my good friend/fellow blogger, Patricia Tan!
