(This is way long overdue but the memories are still worth blogging)

Ecstatic. Relieved. Blessed. Those were the exact words that went through my mind upon the approval of my US visa. That day was one of the happiest of my life, and no, I'm not overreacting. I was denied 3 times, and as I was being interviewed for the 4th time, I wasn't expecting anything other than being denied again. Don't get me wrong, I prayed and hoped for the best. However, it was as if I was getting used to rejection. Now, can you feel how happy I was? I cried. The rain was pouring so hard, and I couldn't recognize the car that my parents sent out to fetch me. I didn't care. I stood under the rain, looking for shade as I was trying to wipe the smile on my face, but I failed. I couldn't stop smiling. God is good. His timing is just perfect.

"Alright, good job! You're approved." -The exact words that was said to me by the interviewer. Alright, moving on to the actual trip! Here are the photos under the corresponding dates and venues of our holiday vacation!

Day 1-2: San Francisco

We randomly chose a place to have dinner. No regrets!

I know the pictures of us at the Golden Gate aren't that nice. It was really foggy and we didn't get a great spot to take photos with good angles.

The family working at that Subway branch are pure Filipino! They were so nice and chatted with us while we were having our breakfast.

Lombard Street is an east–west street in San Francisco, California that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns, making it the most crooked street in the world.

Day 3-4: Lake Tahoe

On our way to our very first snow experience! It was quite an adventure.

One of my favorite photos from that day! Me and my siblings with our cousins having fun with snowballs!

They are one of our relatives that live in the US. We spent the whole vacation with them! One of my favorite aunts, Tita Idang, is the mommy of the family.

Day 5: Fresno

Not much photos here. We just slept at Tita Idang's place and took off at 4, maybe 5 in the morning. But here's a great photo of Papa driving us to Vegas!

Day 6-8: Las Vegas

Roaming the streets of Vegas, impressed with all of the acts that I had to take videos!

This photo was taken at Tita Nikki and Tito Prentyce's home. We had a Christmas party there and it was really fun!

Day 9-12: Los Angeles

My danger-buddy, Tito Marley, drove us to Six Flags! We had loads of fun screaming and crying of laughter. My siblings didn't want to ride the big roller coasters, though. I wish they did. Me and Tito went 2-3x on specific rides because they were so much fun!

Fortune cookie from Panda Express! One of my favorite places to eat. At Six Flags, we also ate at the small branch of PE.

There are still photos on my other phone. For now, these are the highlights of my Christmas vacation!
